For many students, the reopening of school is a mixture of excitement, nervousness, happiness, and even a little sadness. The first day back at school always carries special emotions that cannot be forgotten easily. I still remember those days when school resumed after a long summer break. I am from Vapi, a town in Gujarat, where the early monsoons usually arrived with the reopening of schools, which personally was never my favourite part of returning to school. As it is said, “Every ending is a new beginning.” Summer vacation may come to an end, but it also marks the beginning of a new academic journey filled with fresh hopes, new lessons, and unforgettable memories.
